Former Lost actress Michelle Rodriguez, who played Ana-Lucia Cortez was recently ordered by an L.A. County Judge to report to jail by December 24th to begin serving a 180 day sentence for probation violation from a 2004 DUI and hit and run conviction. Rodriguez, 29, was formerly fitted with an ankle bracelet to monitor alcohol intake, and she failed to remain sober for the ordered 90 days. She also admitted to lying about her community service work. She was order to serve 60 days of community service, and actually only served 20 minutes.

She commented recently about her situation by stating “In 2005, the case all together, the violation of probation here, and in LA, and then out there in Hawaii, all together cost me about $100 grand. I lost my house, lost my cars — that hurt.” She also stated that the loss of work because of the situation was worse than anything. “(The finances) wasn’t as bad as not working for about two years,” she said laughing. “You know, ‘cause then people have a hard time trusting you. They think that you’re like … I don’t know, reckless or something.” She has since “straightened up her act” and is set to be working on James Cameron’s new film project, “Avatar”. Of course, she’ll have to serve her 6 month sentence first.
